Frequently Asked Questions

Q1

How long does a home inspection take?

Typically, a home inspection takes approximately 3–4 hours, depending on the size, age, and condition of the property. A detailed digital report is typically provided within 24 hours after the inspection.

Q2

What is included in a home inspection?

A home inspection includes a visual evaluation of the major accessible systems and components of the home, including the roof, structure, exterior, plumbing, electrical, HVAC, insulation, interior, and more. Inspections are performed in accordance with InterNACHI Standards of Practice.

Q3

Will I be able to attend the inspection?

Absolutely. Clients are welcome to attend the inspection. To allow for a thorough inspection process, we kindly recommend arriving during the final hour of the inspection. At the end, we will review the findings together and answer any questions you may have.

Q4

How much does a home inspection cost?

Inspection fees vary depending on the property size, age, and inspection type. Please contact us for a personalized quote based on your property and inspection needs.

Q5

Do you offer thermal imaging or other advanced tools?

Yes. Thermal imaging is included as part of our standard inspections and may help identify potential moisture or heat-related concerns. However, thermal imaging is supplemental and may not detect all issues or hidden defects.

Q6

What happens if issues are found during the inspection?

If issues are identified during the inspection, they will be documented in a detailed digital report with photos and recommendations. We will also review the findings with you to help you better understand the condition of the home and any recommended next steps.

Q7

Do you recommend any additional inspection services?

Depending on the age, condition, and type of property, additional services such as sewer scope inspections, radon testing, or mold / air quality evaluations may be recommended. These services may be arranged through qualified third-party professionals when applicable.
